Articles explain legal vocabulary, evidence issues, insurance procedures, deadlines, court processes, and practical questions in plain language. The content is educational and is not a substitute for legal advice based on a reader's facts.
Who Publishes the Content
Fuerza Law Group is the publisher of this website. Articles attributed to the Fuerza Law Group Editorial Team are website publications prepared for public education. That byline should not be interpreted as a representation that a particular attorney reviewed every sentence unless an individual reviewer is expressly identified on the page.
Sources and Verification
For legal rules that can be checked against primary authority, our goal is to link or cite official sources where practical. Depending on the topic, that may include the New York State Senate's consolidated laws, New York Courts, state agencies, federal agencies, regulations, court rules, and other official public materials. Secondary sources may be used for context, but they should not replace primary authority when the rule itself can be verified directly.
Laws and procedures change. A page may be accurate when published and later require revision because of legislation, regulations, court decisions, agency guidance, or procedural changes. Dates shown as “updated” indicate the content was reviewed or revised around that date; they do not guarantee that no later change has occurred.
Originality and Reader Value
Our editorial goal is to publish original explanations written for the user rather than pages created only to repeat keywords.
